Dear blog,
Virgin flight to Thailand.
15 August 2015 to 23 August 2015, 9 days.
Singapore > Chiang Mai > Chiang Rai > Chiang Mai > Bangkok.
Didn't sleep early the night before flying and ultimately regretted when I tried to wear my contact lens in the wee morning. It stung like hell cause my eyes were so tired but eventually that feeling went away; still it wasn't pleasant. Also bothered to add some colours to my sickly face only on the first day, LOL.
Very, very, extremely excited for it was a flight in a long, long time.

So many branded goods, so little money... |
 |
Wished the clouds could hold my weight. |
 |
Pretty soaps I'd never bear to use. |
Tried fish spa for the first time ever. Wanted to try it eons ago but never knew why it just didn't happen, but I finally did! It was so unbearably ticklish at first, but trust me with each passing second it just gets more tolerable, haha. It was fun being a dead skin buffet for them fishes. Also got my first ever Thai massage!
Was at this hot spring place and I ended up feeding boiled quail eggs for this pregnant stray dog because we couldn't finish it, haha. And....
.....I also ended up peeling quail eggs in the middle of nowhere for it.

Creeps. |

"Dear God, I wish...." |
 |
Follow me..... to dinner cause it's time for dinner. |
 |
I swear elephants paint better than I do. |
 |
"Imma touch your bumbum but please don't eat me." |
 |
"A bamboo stick...?" |
 |
"EEK A BAMBOO STICK!!" |
It was ironic how these amazing strong and powerful creatures are tameable with the use of a bamboo stick. Us being right next to the tigers without any protection other than a (pathetic, sorry) bamboo stick. Honestly I was quite worried and scared that one of them would just snap and starts eating people for lunch. By then I don't think the bamboo stick will be of much help, huh?
 |
It's not everyday that you get to hold a tiger's tail. |
 |
"I'm done." |
The trainer literally lifted the tiger's tail and put in right in my hands while I was trying to squat beside it for a photo. I was scared out of my wits already being so close to this majestic animal. Somehow I remembered how cats don't like people touching their tails, am I right?? Wrong??? I don't know, I'm still alive and that's all that matters LOL.

Constipated face just cause it's normal to have snake accessories. |

On a wet, drizzling day in Thailand.. |
 |
We went to a resort in Chiang Rai... |
 |
And I fitted right into the kampong life... |
 |
By capturing chick(en)s. |
Meet Lily (or Lili, or LeeLee, or many other possibilities because I never got to know how to spell her name). The closest consolation I got from being away from Seiko for 9 whole days. After experiencing life in country part of Thailand, I realized how lucky we are in Singapore. We have air-con, there are no sudden mega bug attacks, the dogs live a hundred times better life than those in Thailand... I'm only scraping the surface.
We didn't stay at a resort but in a resident's place in Chiang Rai. Trust me it wasn't shabby, just that it's so different. Their definition of clean is different, when you shower you stare right out into the forest, you get flying cockroaches attacking you in the bathroom, I couldn't sleep soundly for the 3 or 4 nights (I can't and don't want to remember) there. I broke down on the second night because I just couldn't take it. Not one second did I felt clean, even after I showered, because right after that I had to spam mosquito repellant. The mozzies there are HUGE. I was so stressed out.
Though the weather was so much more cooling than Singapore. However, I can deal with the heat.
I cherish the city life so much now.
I LOVE CITY LIFE. FOREVER.

Dog walking in the most kampong way: whatever rope and whatever chain. |

Care for a (gigantic centipede) drink? |
 |
Hello, Sally. |
 |
It's also not everyday you get to ride an elephant. |
 |
I'm full of fabulous. |
Before getting this chocolate drink and cake, I was feeling unwell. I felt so weak and giddy. Even after I rested, it didn't help. Good thing I found out it was because I was low on sugar level and thus, I needed some sugar boost. Whatever the face I was making.
 |
Sugar level: OK. |
I cannot believe how cheap Melissa shoes that are on sales in Bangkok are!!!!!!! I will definitely return to Bangkok and buy all the Melissa shoes!!!!!!! I only bought 2 pairs this trip but lugged back 10 pairs for people. And may I not forget to add that 8 pairs where heels and were fxxking heavy.

To my happiest ball of fur. |
This trip was great, and I've experienced enough country life forever. I will return to Thailand one day, but it will be a trip where it's full of shopping because I didn't shop enough this trip HAHAHA.
Bet you thought it was gonna be some deep shit like "I will return to Thailand one day, because it's the goddamn most beautiful place on Earth" or something like that.
Note to self: Crocs are the best invented footwear for overseas trips like this. Proven by me.
See you again, Thailand.
